Freeborn County Engineer, Susan G. Miller, announced today that weight restrictions on County Highways will become effective Thursday, February 16, 2017.

Although no signs will be placed on gravel surfaced roads, they are by law restricted to 5 tons axle weight.
All area residents are asked to cooperate in this effort to preserve our county highway system.
