Jo Lowe Nominated for 2017 Rose Olmsted Advocacy Award

Freeborn County proudly announces the nomination process for the 2017 Rose Olmsted Advocacy Award has been completed and Jo Lowe has been chosen by the selection committee for this award. 

The committee recognized the outstanding commitment provide by Jo over the past 27 + years as being an advocate to ensure the rights of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities have a voice in this area and region.  Her dedication to help each and every one find ways to learn, try new skills, and express themselves is a gift to the entire community. Jo has been the key fabric of the Arc of Freeborn County and she embodies what the Rose Olmsted Advocacy Award represents.

The selection committee would once again like to congratulate Jo on this award and all those who work so diligently with advocacy issues in Freeborn County throughout the year.
