2018 Rose Olmsted Advocacy Award Winner

Freeborn County proudly announces that 2018 Rose Olmsted Advocacy Award has been awarded to Ms. Jacqueline Carstens of Albert Lea.

The selection committee recognized the outstanding commitment provide by Ms. Carstens over the past 15 plus years working in the hospice environment.  The nomination(s) included comments stating: “Ms. Carstens strives to ensure the rights of individuals are served and protected with compassion and dedication.”  Also that she “Has a desire to help each and every one of the individuals she works and with a caring and professionalism demeanor.  She is a gift to the entire community.”   Ms. Carstens clearly and completely embodies what the Rose Olmsted Advocacy Award represents.

The selection committee would once again like to congratulate Jacqueline Carstens on receiving this award and all those who work so diligently with advocacy issues in Freeborn County throughout the year.
