The Crime Victim’s Crisis Center (CVCC) provides:  assistance with Orders For Protection and Harassment Restraining Orders; court accompaniment; safehousing; victim advocacy; groups for children who witness violence; an educational group for women; and assistance with filing reparation applications.

 

CVCC is located on the 2nd floor of the DHS building and is staffed from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday.  On-call trained volunteers cover evening and weekend hours, providing 24-hour response to victims of crime.

CVCC staff and volunteers are also available to do public speaking and trainings on topics related to crime victimization.  CVCC receives supportive funding from United Way and MN Office for Justice.  Donations to CVCC are tax deductible.
