Prenatal Breastfeeding Classes
Breastfeeding is a special experience shared by you and your baby. This one-session class, designed for both the pregnant mother and her support person, provides important information and support for successful breastfeeding. A Certified Lactation Educator/Specialist will provide prenatal breastfeeding education.

We recommend you take this class between 30-38 weeks of pregnancy.
Daytime classes are held at the Freeborn County Government Center, 411 South Broadway Avenue, Albert Lea, MN 56007 in the Albert Lea Room across from WIC from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Evening classes are held at the Freeborn County Government Center, 411 South Broadway Avenue, Albert Lea, MN 56007 in the Albert Lea Room across from WIC from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. (park in the northeast parking lot and enter by Law Enforcement).

Breastfeeding Consultation
If you have any concerns regarding breastfeeding following the birth of your baby you can contact a Certified Lactation Educator. She will provide counseling over the phone and/or can provide a one-on-one consultation with you to help your family be successful with your breastfeeding experience.
