Freeborn County Public Health and Albert Lea Medical Center nurses have teamed up to provide childbirth education to young adults in our community. The four weekly sessions are generally 2 hours long and include information on these topics:

Labor and delivery, with tour of the Baby Place

Coaches’ role in labor and delivery

Pain relief options during labor and doctor talk

Breathing/comfort techniques

Postpartum (after you have baby) care

Newborn care

Breastfeeding
