The four Sheriff's Office supervisors /investigators answer to the Sheriff and Chief Deputy directly.  Our general duties include, but are not limited to:

 

*General investigations and the following specialized areas:

            Narcotics

            Vulnerable Adult and Child Abuse Investigations

            Welfare Fraud

            Burglary – Theft – Criminal Damage to Property - Assaults

            Financial Crimes

            Conducting Search Warrant executions

 

*General Duties include but are not limited to:

            Responding to emergencies

                        Accidents

                        Fires

                        Domestic disputes

                        Fights

                        Burglar alarms

            Traffic stops

            Assisting other Agencies

 

*Planning, directing and implementing procedures and polices 

  for Sheriff's Office staff

*Coordinating report submissions to prosecutors and outside

  Agencies

*Working with informants, outside Agencies

*Jail Hearing Officer for formal discipline hearings

*Management and supervision of patrol, jail and records staff
