About the Board
The County Board is the governing body of the county of Freeborn. Board members, in partnership with county staff, work to ensure the delivery of services and programs essential to the continued prosperity of Freeborn County. The County Administrator serves as the clerk of the County Board.
Meeting
The County Board meetings are held on the first and third Tuesday of each month beginning at 8:30 a.m. in the County Board Room on the second floor of the Historic Courthouse located at 411 South Broadway in Albert Lea.

The Freeborn County Board of Commissioners meetings air on local cable channel 180 at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
