One full-time deputy and an administrative assistant are assigned to the civil process division. The civil process deputy’s primary duties are to serve court orders as issued by the judges. The sheriff’s office civil process division serves as a liaison between court administration, the judiciary system, the general public and the sheriff’s office as it relates to civil process. The civil process division handles mortgage foreclosures, mechanics liens, summons and complaints, orders, writs of recovery (eviction process), orders for protection, harassment orders, judgements, subpoenas, garnishments, writs of execution and acts on each accordingly.
