Facilities management

Freeborn County Facilities Management Department provides maintenance and janitorial services for the following buildings: Government Center, Department of Health, Highway Department, Environmental Services and fairgrounds.

The Facilities Management Department is responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Property Management: planning, maintaining, managing and operation of all county-owned properties in a safe, accessible and cost effective manner.
  • Routine and preventative maintenance and repair.
  • Operations and maintenance of heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems.
  • Snow and waste removal.
  • General landscape planning and maintenance.
  • Custodial and mail services.
  • Serve as a point of contact for maintenance trouble calls and services requests.
