Freeborn County is pleased to announce Candace Pesch has been named as the new County Administrator.
The County contracted with South Central Service Cooperative of North Mankato to direct the search process for a new Freeborn County Administrator. The County Board received nine applications from which four candidates were selected.
South Central Service Cooperative recently announced the selection of four finalists for the county administrator position. The candidates were Michael Harvey, Susan Miller, Candace Pesch, and Pat Oman. After a day long interview process, the County Board made a motion and authorized Mike Humpal of SCSC to make an offer to candidate Candace Pesch who accepted later in the day.
A resolution to approve the employment contract and appoint Candace Pesch as the County Administrator will be on the agenda for the Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at 8:30 a.m. board meeting.
