Freeborn County Engineer,
Susan G. Miller, announced today that weight restrictions on County Highways
will become effective Monday, March 5, 2018.
Weight limit signs will be
placed on all bituminous surfaced and concrete surfaced highways in the County.
Although no signs will be
placed on gravel surfaced roads, they are by law restricted to 5 tons axle
weight.
All area residents are
asked to cooperate in this effort to preserve our county highway system.
